If so, it isn’t difficult to assume what binge-watching can do to us during a time like this. Flooding news reports, many worrisome ones, can cause fear and anxiety among people.

As a result, people tend to herd behavior can such as buying up supplies and food stock, which is actually happening everywhere.

But that said, going outside for a walk and getting fresh air can reduce anxiety and stress just like during the ordinary times. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.

On the other hand, remaining indoors all day long can cause anxiety, insomnia and other mental disorders. Spending time outdoors, even if for a short time, your body wakes up, uplifting your feelings.

Singing boosts immunoglobulin A levels, reinforcing your immune system which is a great way to prevent yourself from the virus. It also improves breathing, reduces stress hormones, and simply uplifts your spirit! Singing basically has a positive influence on both emotional state and immune responses.

4. Dance!

Health benefits of dancing is self-explanatory, and there is no need to even mention them. But among so many benefits, it also improves the heart and lungs condition, thus, the mental functioning.

5. Meditate!

Meditation can alter the state of your brain, changing it from Beta to Alpha, even Delta brainwaves, which are slower in frequency. The slower the frequency, the more rested state you are in.
