Trying to get on with your life while suffering from Chemical Sensitivity (CS) is seriously a daunting, devastating task; it is a never-ending, full-time, around-the-clock job, no ifs or buts, time to relax or chill.
Moreover, it is psychologically exhausting because those who do not have Chemical Sensitivity (CS) do not understand what it is like to be run down by chemicals, including your family, friends and colleagues. Even if you ask them to stop using certain types of wash or hair products that trigger your CS symptoms, they think that you are just overreacting or being too sensitive or even picky, anti-social. It is next to impossible to make yourself understood.
Meanwhile, the more frequently you are exposed to those chemicals, the more sensitive you become to other types of chemicals. Thus, you become more drained both physically and psychologically.
How I Developed Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
This is the very trajectory that I had followed.
I first became sensitive to chemicals due to constant second-hand smoke at workplaces. Cigarette smoke was everywhere and was unavoidable at that time.
Then, I gradually developed sensitivity to other chemicals like thinners and formaldehyde used in housing and interior materials. In other words, I contracted the Sick Building Syndrome (SBS).
That of course led me to react to other chemicals such as perfume, deodorants, detergents, fabric softeners, air fresheners, and the like. And that is how I ended up having Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS).
What I Did To Counter Chemical Sensitivity
I had tried just about any remedy, meditation, diet, exercises, workshop, seminar, workshop that I could lay my hands on:
Flower Essence (Findhorn, FES, Bush)
Family Constellation Workshops
Visiting power spots and stone circles like Stone Henge, Glastonbury
Visiting crop circles
Edwin Copper’s Body Voice Workshop
Lise Bourbeau’s Workshop
Wave motion water
Barbara Brennan School of Healing sessions
Acupuncture and Chiropractic sessions
Various energy works and Chi sessions
DNRS (Dynamic Neural Retraining System)
IMEDIS (Russian bio-resonance therapy)
and on and on…
Basically, I think I have left no stone unturned.
All of them did have some tangible effect. But the problem was that, the effect was not lasting. I was still getting sick, dysfunctional and depressed from the non-stop exposure to chemicals in the environment.
How I Became Homeless and Started Hotel Hopping
I became homeless after having moved 53 times, and started taking refuge at hotels.
Hotels are no different than residential homes or apartments; hotels are also filled with chemical smells such as
linens and pajamas smelling like fabric softeners and detergents
shampoo and conditioners
However, one distinct difference is that hotel rooms do not come with washing machines nor balconies with drying rods or clothes. This makes a great difference when it comes to alleviating exposure to chemical smells.
Staying at hotels allowed me to be flexible and move out immediately when necessary. I did not have to worry about signing a lease and be bound to a chemical-ridden room. The downside was that I did not have a constant place to stay and store things. I was always on the road, carrying all of my belongings, dragging my suitcases. Not only is it physically tiring, but also mentally fatiguing.
But I had no other choice but to secure a roof over my head each day. And staying at hotel rooms has been the most reasonable, safe option.
How I Got Desensitized Enough To Stay Comfortably At Hotels
I was still suffering from constant exposure at work and at any public places, really. And I was not successful in securing a way to get better. Thus , I was starting to lose hope.
However, the twist of fate and the will of the Divine, I must say, first sent me off to Dubai this January, to attend Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Advanced Weeklong Retreat. This without doubt was the game changer!
After returning from Dubai, I was sent off to the Southern island of Japan called Kyushu in March. I was planning on staying there for only a week or two. But soon after I got there, the COVID spread, and the STAY HOME initiative became more or less a mandate. So I ended up staying here indefinitely for the foreseeable future.
Then, I learned of this unique osteopathic clinic from a macrobiotic cafe manager in town. He told me that the clinic was run by a very unique, channeler-like practitioner called TANAKA OSTEOPATHY CLINIC located here in this part of the country. I instinctively felt that this place was it! And so, I went.
And Boy oh boy! I could not believe what happened after I started receiving treatment there.
I would like to share with you and describe in detail,
what I experienced during Dr. Joe Dispenza’s retreat
the treatment that I had received at
in my next blogs.
The meditations I learned during Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Retreat, and the treatment I received at this one and only osteopathic clinic called TANAKA OSTEOPATHY CLINIC definitely rid of severe symptoms of chemical sensitivity.
I am now able to tolerate ambient chemical smells, functioning much better, motivated and energized enough to go out and do the things I have been compelled to put on the back burner: taking cello lessons, going horseback riding, eating out with friends, meet new people enjoying life!
Please stay tuned and be on the look out for my following blogs!
“Everything in Life Is Vibration.” – Albert Einstein
Everything is vibration. All creatures vibrate at unique frequencies. Each human being creates a vibration unique to that individual. Plants have their own frequencies. Water, even frozen, and metals and rocks that appear solid, vibrate, too. And whey you are vibrating harmoniously, you are well. When your vibration is distorted, you are unwell. Thus, you can reclaim your health by attuning your vibration.
Since everything vibrates at a unique frequency, sniffing dogs, for example, can easily detect whether an individual is carrying cocaine, even when kept in an airtight jar. The smell of cocaine will not leak through outside of the jar. However, the aroma will, because it is vibrating. Sniffing dogs can detect the presence of cocaine because of the vibration unique to cocaine.
The fact that we are vibrating means that we are alive. When we stop vibrating, we are dead. Wild animals are said to be capable of telling whether a living being is alive or dead based on vibration.
Thus, vibration means life, and all life vibrates.
Attuned Vibration Means Health, Disorderly Vibration Spells Disease
When we are healthy, we are vibrating in an orderly manner; the wave form of our vibration looks natural and smooth. On the other hand, when our vibration is distorted, our vibration becomes distorted, throwing us off balance. This is why become sick.
For example, your shoulder becomes stiff, when your shoulder is distorted. Because of the distortion, the blood circulation around your shoulders is hampered, resulting in stiff shoulders.
Therefore, you can become healthy by attuning your vibration and making it orderly.
Attuned Torus Energy CirculationAttunes Your Vibes
Torus is defined as
“a surface of generation generated by revolving a circle in a three- dimensional space about an axis that is coplanar with the circle.“
This may sound a bit technical and archaic, but it simply means the geometrical shape that is depicted in the photograph above.
Torus is the fundamental topology of energy flow of all things in the universe. Your body creates a torus; your family, your community or even your country forms a torus. Apples, oranges, electrons, and galaxies, too, have torus energy cycles.
In a Torus,
the energy flows out from one vortex, wraps around the circumference,
flows into the second vortex,
moves along the axis,
flows out from the original vortex again.
This creates a self-sustaining system which represents the perfect energy flow.
Therefore, you can restore orderly and harmonious vibration by tuning the torus energy flow of your body. This will correct the distortion of your vibration. Thus, you start vibrating harmoniously again, and become healthy.
Stress and anxiety can cause insomnia and other sleeping disorders during time of peace, let alone during crisis like now. This pandemic is something that we had never experienced before. So, it is difficult to predict when and how this outbreak would end. This uncertainty can render us susceptible to anxiety and thus sleeping disorders like insomnia. Nevertheless, overcoming insomnia is crucial for optimizing your immune system. Here is one way to solve insomnia based on my own experience.
Symptoms Caused by Sleep Deprivation
When you are unable to 7 hours of sleep a night, you will experience issues like:
suppressed immune system
higher of stroke
higher of diabetes
emergence or worsening of depression
higher risk of cancer
risk of heart disease
increase in body weight
Boosting our immune system is particularly important during the virus outbreak like now. So, securing a good night’s sleep and rest is likely paramount. But trying to get some sleep during a state of emergency is easier said than done, and it can go in circles.
6 Tips on How to Fall Asleep Naturally
I have been chronically sleep deprived for nearly 15 years due to environmental chemicals and ultra low frequency vibrations. As a result, I have been experiencing both physical and mental breakdowns. It also rendered me homeless six years ago. Ever since, I have been searching for ways to overcome insomnia naturally.
It took me so long to figure but by chance. By practicing the following, taking melatonin in particular, I am finally starting to get some sleep, and am pleasantly surprised that supplements can actually work. So these may work for you, too.
Take 30 to 45 minutes to decompress
Cool the bedroom
Dim the light and reduce visual stimulation
avoid heavy meal, especially carbohydrates before going to bed
go to bed at the same time
How Melatonin Made Me Sleepy Naturally
I had tried 1-5 before, but was not seeing any improvement. Every night, I would get nervous of not being able to get sleep again like the night before. This only made my heart beat faster, making me more anxious, repeating the vicious circle. The chemical smell and artificial low frequency vibrations in the environment only made things worse.
However, I started to notice tangible difference when I began taking a supplement for prompting sleep, containing melatonin.
Melatonin is a natural hormone produced by your pineal gland, which prepares your body to fall asleep. But as we age into our 40s, 50s and beyond, the level of melatonin starts to drop. So taking melatonin supplements can be helpful in getting quality sleep.
I used to be up almost all night every night; I would doze off here and there, but was not able to get 6 or 7 hours of sleep in a row. Because of this, I felt fatigued and not rested at all in the morning . I was not able to think or focus or function.
But 8 days after I had started taking this supplement, I am pleasantly surprised to find myself becoming sleepy around 11pm. I have been able to sleep 6 to 7 hours a night since 3 nights ago, despite the low frequency vibrations in the neighborhood!
I also recognize how energized and focused I am when I get sufficient sleep. Naturally, I feel stronger, less prone to any infection.
The world has gone haywire with the Corona Pandemic. This is blocking down countries and places all over the Planet. It is true that so many people are falling prey to the Coronavirus infection. But we must also not forget that there are people who are not affected by it, as well.
Regardless of how adverse the Coronavirus can be, it is important to keep in mind that there are precautionary measures we can take to protect ourselves.
One of the effective ways is simply to boost your immunity. And to do so, keeping our gut bacteria healthy can be very effective.
Keep Our Gut Bacteria Healthy Is Key to Boost Your Immunity
According to scientific studies, our gut governs 70% of the immune responses, so keeping bacteria in our guts happy is the key to our health.
This is fulfilled by about 1,000 trillion, or 2 kilograms worth of intestinal bacteria, most of which cannot be cultivated. These bacteria plays crucial roles such as:
Moreover, Oligosaccharide (contained in honey, onions, burdock, etc.) is a great treat for the intestinal bacteria. This will increase the number of bacteria in your gut.
Eat With Someone You Enjoy Being With
It is also important to watch out who you eat with.
Dr. Koichiro Fujita, a Japanese immunologist, exposed rats to electric shocks every time they were being fed. As a result, the rats developed severe atopic dermatitis within 2 weeks. Exposure to stressors during meals can be detrimental to your immune system.
He also found that people tend to gain weight when they eat with people whom they do not fancy being with.
Therefore, eat meals with people you enjoy being with!
Avoid Food AdditivesAnd Preservatives
Food additives are used mainly for extending the life of processed foods. Likewise, preservatives are used to sterilize bacteria that come to contact with food products.
By its very nature, it will kill not only the unfriendly bacteria but also the friendly ones. Obviously, this will harm the gut flora and bacteria.
So avoiding food additives and preservatives would be beneficial for your gut bacteria.
How are you coping with the current Coronavirus spread and anxiety that has taken over the Planet? Are you spending restless nights? Perhaps you are worried about being infected by the virus. Or you may be concerned about the overall uncertainty and the unpredictability?
If you are, here are some tips on how you can alleviate your anxiety and reclaim some peace of mind.
1. Avoid TVand the News
According to scientific studies, watching TV for a long time can affect our health. It is said to increase the risk of obesity and diabetes among others. Excessive TV watching can also cause mental illnesses, even during time of peace.
If so, it isn’t difficult to assume what binge-watching can do to us during a time like this. Flooding news reports, many worrisome ones, can cause fear and anxiety among people.
As a result, people tend to herd behavior can such as buying up supplies and food stock, which is actually happening everywhere.
2. Go For A Walk
It is of course important to comply with the hygiene and health measures set forth by the government. But that said, going outside for a walk and getting fresh air can reduce anxiety and stress just like during the ordinary times. Being the simple form of exercise, walking would improve your mood, get your juice going, boost immunity and achieve overall well-being.
According to a study by Harvard Medical School,
A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.
On the other hand, remaining indoors all day long can cause anxiety, insomnia and other mental disorders. Spending time outdoors, even if for a short time, your body wakes up, uplifting your feelings.
Singing is also a great way to reduce anxiety and improve your mood!
Singing boosts immunoglobulin A levels, reinforcing your immune system which is a great way to prevent yourself from the virus. It also improves breathing, reduces stress hormones, and simply uplifts your spirit! Singing basically has a positive influence on both emotional state and immune responses.
Health benefits of dancing is self-explanatory, and there is no need to even mention them. But among so many benefits, it also improves the heart and lungs condition, thus, the mental functioning.
Meditation can alter the state of your brain, changing it from Beta to Alpha, even Delta brainwaves, which are slower in frequency. The slower the frequency, the more rested state you are in.
There are many kinds of meditations out there, and you may be wondering what would work for you if you are new to meditation. You may want to search for various meditations available on the net and find the ones that work for you.
Don’t worry if you get distracted along the way; all you have to do is just become aware and bring yourself back to the meditative state, following instructions of the meditation you are working on.
These are just simple, ordinary tips, but believe me, they work!
Try to get some exercise, bask in the sun, sing and dance like you normally do to uplift your spirit. especially during the time of challenge like this.
